The Apple Blossom Royal Court | March 22, 2017

Rep. Mike Steele, R-Chelan, had the opportunity to interview the Apple Blossom Royal Court during their recent visit to Olympia on March 20.

The 2017 Apple Blossom Court is comprised of Queen Amy Sand, Princess Paige Chvilicek and Princess Alissa Riker. All three won their titles in Feb. 2017 and are students at Wenatchee High School.

Held for the first time in 1919, the Washington State Apple Blossom Festival is the oldest major festival in the state and is a major economic driver in the area. It is estimated that approximately 100,000 visitors travel to the Wenatchee area to attend the event.

This year's Apple Blossom Festival will be April 27 – May 7, 2017. More details about the festival can be found at
