Rep. Mike Steele gives floor speech in support of dual credit notifications for high school students
Rep. Mike Steele, R-Chelan, gives a floor speech in support of high school students and their families being notified of the dual credit program and financial assistance.
Steele’s legislation, House Bill 1146, would require public schools to notify students and their parents about dual credit programs, along with financial assistance available to reduce the cost of the program. The House unanimously approved the bill, 96-0, with 2 excused. House Bill 1146 now goes to the Senate for further consideration.
